Casting Organic Objects with Rima Rex
August 14-15th (Sat-Sun) 11-5pm
Here's what you have all been asking for. Learn to create a mold of organic objects from nature, including twigs, flower pods, acorns, bugs, or essentially anything that will burn away in the kiln. Bring in a selection of objects to cast. If the objects are unable to be molded and cast, let them inspire your designs and sculpt your own organic piece in wax to be cast in silver or bronze. Cast these objects the 2nd day and complete your nature inspired metal work.
