Beginning Jewelry 3408 with Courtney Gray
January 25-March 22 (Tuesdays) 5:30-8:30 pm (8 sessions, skip 3/15)
Spend these eight evenings with other creative people, learning the core techniques of jewelry making, with an emphasis on fabrication. Design and complete at least three projects that incorporate skills learned in class. Work with non-ferrous metals such as copper, silver, and brass. Work hands-on and become proficient in drilling, piercing, sawing, filing, soldering, basic wire working, forming, dapping, riveting, stamping, finishing, and more. Beginners and intermediate students are welcome. This class is offered through the Austin Museum of Art. Visit www.amoa.org to register.
