Chain, Chain, Chain with Rima Sheegog
Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22, 11 am-4 pm
In this workshop students will learn the Etruscan weave and create their own chain. After briefly discussing and viewing different chain styles and techniques, students will focus on a woven Etruscan chain. The Etruscan chain is one of the most beautiful styles of chain that is still worn today. Build skills in techniques such as annealing, minor soldering, weaving, and drawing wire and take home a beautiful handmade chain bracelet. You will be amazed with what you are capable of creating in this class!
