Adapt-a-Cab Workshop with Tom and Kay Benham
Saturday and Sunday, August 6-7, 10 am-6 pm
Join Tom and Kay Benham for a magical workshop learning to master the basics of gemstone carving using a flex shaft and simple carving tools. During the course of the workshop, students will learn how to add interest to cabochons using a variety of techniques: texturing, carving and sculpting, embedding metal wire and inlaying stone and metal. Students will learn how to make their own carving, sanding and polishing tools.
