Chasing and Repoussé: The Face with Tom and Kay Benham
Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19-20, 10 am-6 pm
Discover how to move and manipulate metal by hammering and forming a face in copper. Generate high volume and incorporate basic facial features- eyes, nose and mouth, and learn to create a face by following proper proportions of facial structure. Work hands on and step by step with this talented metal-smith duo. Gain experience while creating an amazing work of art. Each student has the use of a kit that includes all tools, metals and patterns in class. Bring your magnifying glasses or optivisor for magnification.
