Enameling is the technique of fusing crushed colored glass compounds to metal. In this hands on 3 day workshop, learn how enamel works and how you might begin applying it to your own jewelry. Using opaque and transparent enamels, experiment with simple techniques such as, sifting, sgraffito, stenciling, wet packing and more. View and discuss examples of ancient to modern day enameled projects and techniques and create your own enameled jewelry in copper and discover the many fun and beautiful possibilities of this ancient jewelry process. ★ No Experience Necessary!
