Enameling with Ashleigh Holeman

Learn to add some color to your work in this introductory enameling series. In this hands-on three day workshop students will explore the art of applying glass to metal in addition to viewing and discussing examples of ancient and contemporary enamel arts. We will experiment with basic application techniques including, sifting opaque and transparent enamels, sgraffito, stenciling, and wet packing. Leave with completed samples and a strong foundation of the enameling process. This class is made possible by the Enamelist society
