Beginner’s Gemstone Setting (Bezel Setting) with Rima Rex

Learn how to create simple bezels (strip of metal that is shaped and formed around a stone to encapsulate & secure it), which are a beautiful and versatile way to set cabochon (smooth top) stones of all shapes and sizes. This is an ideal, early technique to learn if you are interested in the fabulous world of silversmithing and gem stone setting, perfect for beginners. Techniques used in this class include sawing, simple forming, soldering and setting. Also learn how to turn your beautiful bezel into a bracelet, pendant or ring. A kit will be included with the class or if you prefer, you may bring stones from your own collection
