Welding Processes with Colby Brinkman *
(Beginners) Dec 5-6th (Sat.-Sun) 9-1 pm
Don’t miss your chance to learn the safe and correct way to join metals in a fun and professional environment. Receive one on one instruction from an experienced welder, fabricator and metalsmith in his East Austin studio and learn the basics of multiple welding processes and tools including: - MIG (metal inert gas) electric welding, Flux core, Oxygen/Fuel welding and cutting great for art projects, & learn the basics of electric angle grinders - grinding, sanding, and wire brushing. Essential to anyone wanting to gain basic welding skills. Intensive safety discussion and proper use of equipment, setup and tools will be covered prior to starting. Maximum of 4 students.
